The Power Of Love

The love of God crosses all realms of existence including the physical, spiritual, time, ability, and any other created boundary.  It is even able to invade the human heart and rescue us from all sin and death.
Furthermore, God’s love is so powerful that there is nothing that can separate us from it; not death, life angels, principalities or the like.  If God is for you, who can be against you?  For you are in the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.

Personal Reflection

Sometimes we are convinced by satan that we are unloved, worthless and all alone.  This couldn’t be any further from the truth.  The love of God has not been withheld, but instead has been given in great abundance through Jesus Christ.  They way to conquer lies is by infusing truth form God’s Word.  Meditate on Romans 5:8.  What kind of love does God have for us?  What did we have to do to receive it?   If He demonstrated His love for us while we were sinners, what does that tell us about His desire to be in relationship with us?

Prayer Focus

Glorious Father, we come before you praising you for the love you have shown us!  You have not withheld anything from us, but instead freely given us all things through the tremendous sacrifice of your precious Son.  Guard our minds from believing the lies of the enemy and bathe us in the truth of your love.  Equip us with your Word that we may expose the lies and darkness and walk in Spirit and in Truth.  In the powerful loving Name of Jesus, Amen!

  1. This is so appropriate for what I am dealing with this week. Satan is working over time and God is right by my side through it all. God is good ALL the time.

  2. Awesome. I read abundance and immediatly thought of my many “things/possessions” but then again-immediatly I thought, ” No-that’s not it”. It has nothing to do with things. Just the abundance of God’s love. Abundance of peace, joy, patience, mercy, etc. Those are the “things” I have through Christ Jesus!
