What a blessed freedom we have when we find that our contentment comes from Christ and our strength comes from Him also.  We are not controlled by our situation but instead are being given strength through Jesus. 

Paul learned the secret of being content with much or little.  When our hope and eyes are fixed completely on Christ and we are content in Him, we are able to live in any situation. We too can experience this truth.  

Personal Reflection

What’s the the best way to find contentment in Jesus?  Spend time getting to know Him and His ministry through His Word.  Seek how each of these passages in His Word applies to your life.  

Prayer Focus

Heavenly Father, teach us to be content in Jesus and His powerful work at the cross.  You have provided everything we need.  Help our eyes to see the wholeness of your gift in Him, we pray, Amen.
