It amazes me the platform which God gave to Paul and as a prisoner that he was also allowed to be cared for by his friends.  As a matter of fact Paul subtly leads these men as he broke bread and gave thanks. All of these events were part of God’s plan to care for Paul and spread the gospel.  

As we celebrate Thanksgiving today, I’m reminded that I’m most thankful that my Savior is with me during times of smooth sailing and times of prolonged storms.

Paul certainly had some enemies; ones that bound themselves under a curse to not eat or drink until they slay him. But God provided protection through his sister’s son.  Paul’s mission was not yet over and if God was for him, who could be against him?
