How Do We Love: By Word and Deed

If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead being by itself. (James 2:15-17) – Compassionate words cannot replace compassionate action. The 2 should travel together as inseparable friends. Investing in the lives of others and helping to meet their needs will open more doors to Christ’s kingdom than just offering encouraging words or handing out tracks, because the need is not just information, but a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Where we spend our time indicates where we love. Make no mistake, everyone is always watching this and always asking the question “Am I loved”. What will be your answer….”Yes I love you, I’m spending time to meet your needs” or “Someone else can love you, I am too busy”  Take time to fulfill the great commission today…Invest in those around you!  ~ Blessings to you
