One of the enemy’s strategies is to keep us from the knowledge of God. He does this in the world of our minds where most do not see. The battle rages as a war of ideas and thoughts. We often feel as if we are fighting ourselves because our flesh desires to have its lusts fulfilled. Are you ready for this battle?
The thought battle must be fought daily. The mind dwells on what we repeatedly fill it with. Why not take a break from the mindless chatter we pour into it and fill it with the solid word of God so we are prepared.
When we have the knowledge of God, we fully comprehend our need of Him and our lack of need of satan and His false promises.
Don’t be an untrained soldier! Begin the process today of reclaiming your mind. No doubt there are subtle attacks and false ideas residing in the corners of your mind seeking to wage war as you sleep. Leave no thought unexamined. Take every thought captive!

- How often are you examining your thought life?
- How often are you depositing Truth from God’s word?
Removing lies and depositing truth are the two practical ways we clean our core and prepare our minds to take every thought captive. Be diligent as you do this and you will be ready!
Prayer
Father, we pray that You would equip us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We pray for victory in the mind battles of your people. Be our strength. Our hope in You will not disappoint but instead bring us great Joy, in Jesus Name, Amen!
